BrightEyes Alpaca Retreat specializes in agritourism for everyone in the Farmville community. We are continually updating our educational opportunities for schools, groups and organizations that are looking for a unique farm and animal experience.

As a working farm and agritourism facility, we offer educational opportunities literally from the ground up – from farm care and maintenance to the final product, alpaca fiber. Sign up for one of our alpaca farm tours to learn about:

  • Alpaca herd health
  • Fiber quality and quantity, processing and production
  • Soil and pasture care and  maintenance
  • Property design – barn and fencing
  • Livestock Guardian animal care

 Tours will resume in mid September! Calendar slots will be closed until September. 

Please book 48 hours in advance to make sure we are available. No Drop-ins, please.  Tours may be weather dependent and may have to be rescheduled if pasture conditions are impacted.  Please wear old clothes & closed toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops! ) If you are not vaccinated,, we will require mask—-our animals can contract Covid!

Individual tours are $8  a person.  Children under 5 years old are free when accompanied by their parent.
